Blackstone’s Global Fund Finance team is seeking a Fund Accounting Associate to join the team in support of business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Review daily and monthly estimate and final fund NAVs
* Prepare and review capital calls and distributions allocations
* Assist in tracking investment cost and monitoring the fair value of the investments
* Preparation and oversight of quarterly NAV and portfolio reconciliation process; investigate and resolve discrepancies with the internal operations teams
* Calculate management fees, distributions, waterfall allocations, and IRR
* Prepare and review fund forecasts, performance estimates, attributions, and other ad-hoc projects
* Assist in review of investor statements and internal reporting
* Coordinate with the external auditors for the year-end audit process
* Oversee and review the work of the offshore team

Qualifications:

* BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance
* CPA preferred
* 3+ years of fund, audit, or administrator experience; 3+ years of public or private accounting experience
* Experience in private equity and/or hedge funds and/or audit preferred
* Knowledge of SEC/relevant regulatory filings for investment funds preferred
* Strong Excel skills preferred
* Able to multitask and effectively manage their own time
* Collaborative team player, always willing to assist colleagues
* Highly motivated, proactive, intelligent, with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors
* Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills
